Pompom Blanket / Throw
Cotton or cotton-wool blend blankets with rows of hand-tied pompoms along the edges or woven into stripes. A modern Moroccan textile staple.
History & Cultural Context
Pompom blankets are a relatively modern addition to Morocco's textile tradition, developed for the international home decor market. They combine traditional hand-loom weaving with playful pompom embellishment. Despite being newer, they are genuinely handmade in Moroccan workshops.
