Rose Water
Distilled water from Damask roses, used in cooking, skincare, and traditional ceremonies. The Dades Valley produces Morocco's finest rose water.
History & Cultural Context
Rose cultivation in the Dades Valley dates to the 10th century, brought by pilgrims returning from Mecca. The annual Rose Festival in Kelaat M'Gouna celebrates the May harvest. Rose water is used in pastries, cosmetics, and as a guest welcome gesture.

Production Notes
Petals are steam-distilled in copper alembics. The first distillation produces the most concentrated rose water. Approximately 4,000 roses produce 1 liter of rose water.
